In 2024, the Team Virginia Beach delegation for the JCC Maccabi Games and Access Games has the opportunity to send athletes to Houston, Texas this summer.

Jewish teenagers from the local Virginia Beach community, serving as representatives for Team Virginia Beach at the JCC Maccabi Games, have the opportunity to connect with fellow Jewish teens globally during this yearly Olympic-style sports festival.

The event not only enhances their Jewish identity but also fosters increased interaction within their community.

The Access Games cater to individuals aged 12-22 facing developmental challenges, offering specialized sports, programming, and competitions tailored to the needs of Access athletes.

>> February 19: RSVP deadline for Maccabi Kick-Off Party.
>> February 20: Maccabi Kick-Off meeting 6:00 pm at Simon Family JCC. Attendees earn $100 voucher.
>> March 5: Non-refundable deposit of $250 due to Simon Family JCC
3/28/24 - Still accepting deposits
>> April 5: Early Bird--pay 50% of account balance due to earn $100 voucher
>> April 26: Payment of 50% of account balance due
>> April 29: Online information registration (Regpack) completion deadline for Athletes.
>> May 19: Yom Ha'atzmaut - All delegation members to sell car wash tickets 11a-4p. Can sell elsewhere, too
>> June 9: #TeamVB Car Wash Fundraiser, 1-3 pm, at JCC. All delegation members participate
>> By June 15: Spectator early bird online registration fee (ages 6-12 $18; ages 13+ $50)
>> June 16 and beyond: Spectator online registrations (ages 6-12 $36; ages 13+ $75)
>> June 16: Online medical registration (Regpack) information completion deadline for Athletes
>> July 1: Remainder of account balance due.
>> August 4: Depart ORF for IAH
>> August 9: Depart IAH for ORF

Fundraising, Discounts, Credits Options

Sell #TeamVB Car Wash tickets ($10 each). For each ticket sold by a delegation member, 100% goes toward their account balance.
Make early bird payment of 50% of account balance due by April 5, receive $100 voucher for remaining account balance.
Refer a sibling who makes $250 deposit by March 5 and registers online by April 29, then receive $100 voucher for remaining account balance for original registrant.
Refer a friend who makes $250 deposit by March 5 and registers online by April 29, then receive $100 voucher for remaining account balance for original registrant.
Spectator registration online by June 15 receives discounted rate.
All credits and vouchers will be effective for the final account balance due.
