Please join Postpartum Support Virginia (PSVa) and the 757 Chapter of Chamber of Mothers, in partnership with the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater's PJ Library, for a screening of the documentary More Than Blue. This screening is part of a series of events called Virginia Is for Mothers: A Beyond the Blues Experience being hosted by PSVa and their partners across the Commonwealth throughout the summer to raise awareness for postpartum depression.

This incredible documentary shares real stories of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders from the individuals and families who have experienced them. All those who love, support, and care for women, mothers, and birthing individuals are welcome to help raise awareness, reduce stigma, and improve birth outcomes. There will be raffle prizes and a short panel discussion following the film. Light refreshments will be served.

All names of ticket holders must be provided during registration. If you need to change the name of an attendee, this must be done in advance for security purposes.

*** Please note, this documentary discusses very serious mental health topics including suicidal ideation and psychosis. Please prioritize your own mental health when considering attendance. ***

Postpartum Support Virginia (PSVa) is a state-wide nonprofit that provides a lifeline for families navigating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). PSVa fills the gaps between diagnosis and treatment, crisis and stability, and isolation and connection through a peer support Warmline and direct care navigation that results in a warm handoff to a provider who can help. Check out their website for more information on support groups, peer mentoring, and education/training they offer providers to increase Virginia's PMAD-informed workforce to support any need a parent may have during this vulnerable period.
