Israeli dance with Pati Oliszewski.

Message from Pati

I’m excited to lead a hands-on Israeli dance class with the JCC Senior Club. This is not a performance or lecture—it’s a true class where everyone is invited to participate. Together, we’ll learn a few traditional Israeli folk dance choreographies that are simple, joyful, and easy to follow, no prior experience needed.

Israeli dance is a powerful and meaningful part of Jewish culture, expressing community, history, and celebration through movement. I’ve been dancing since childhood in Brazil, where Israeli dance was an integral part of my Jewish day school education. Across South America, Israeli dance has always played a strong role in Jewish communal life, and I’m excited to share this tradition here with you.

Come ready to move, learn, and connect—comfortably and at your own pace. Let’s dance together!

Free lunch this month! Chicken salad with rolls and salad

RSVP is REQUIRED.

The JCC Senior Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month at the Simon Family JCC. This club is for adults who are 55+ and looking to add education, culture, and connections to others and the Jewish community. The membership fees are $15 per year.
