Sacred Soundscapes: Thinking about Music in Jewish and Christian Worship - 10:00am

Through a partnership with UJFT and in celebration of Jewish American Heritage Month and America@250, author and cantorial soloist Jason Schachter McKinney, and Second Presbyterian Church’s Director of Music, Bob Shoup, will reflect on how they see music in worship, how it structures the service, supports prayer, and shapes emotional and spiritual experience. Participants are invited to stay for an interfaith service at 11:00 AM. All are welcome. RSVP is required.

Interfaith Church Service with Pastor Craig Wansink & Rabbi Michael Panitz - 11:00am

Join Pastor Craig Wansink and the congregation of Second Presbyterian Church as they welcome Rabbi Michael Panitz of Temple Israel to learn why the commandment “remember the Sabbath” may be the commandment we need most. Participants are invited to arrive early for a conversation about the role of music in Jewish and Christian worship. All are welcome, RSVP required.
